Meet your Community Pharmacist

Veeral Patel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the KLE College of Pharmacy, India, in 2009. He subsequently relocated to Canada in 2011 to pursue a career in pharmacy. In 2016, he obtained his pharmacist license and initiated his pharmacy career at a community pharmacy in Ponoka, AB. Throughout his career, Veeral has had the opportunity to serve as a pharmacist in various locations, including Spruce Grove, Sherwood Park, and Beaumont.

In 2018, Veeral achieved an Additional Prescribing Authority (APA), which has significantly enhanced his ability to provide comprehensive patient care. His APA license enables him to access and prescribe medications to patients, particularly in cases where they are unable to consult with a physician.

Recognizing the crucial role pharmacists play in patient health by understanding disease statistics and medications, Veeral remains dedicated to improving patient well-being and healthcare outcomes.
